Sunglasses Run 5k 

You will have it made it the shade at this fun event celebrating Summer, hosted by Wichita Running Company and Fartleks, Fartleks is Wichita's local running shop and smoothie stop.   The Sunglass Run 5K is an event for the whole family with a 5K run/walk and kids run afterwards!  All participants will receive a finishers medal and a pair of sunglasses!  5K participants will receive a pair of the popular Goodr sunglasses that are designed to keep you looking cool while being active!  Participants can also add an event shirt if they like for just $8!  Sign up today and be part of the fun!

5K RUN/WALK

Register as an individual or as part of a team of 3 or more.  All participants in the 5k will receive a pint glass, participant shirt and finishers medal.  

KIDS FUN RUN

Fun Run for kids ages 8 and under. 50-200 yards based on age. Participants will get a shirt and ribbon.

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers as well as the top masters male and female finishers. Custom event medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories:

 

10 and under  25-29     45-49     65-69
11-14              30-34     50-54     70-74

15-19              35-39     55-59     75-79

20-24              40-44     60-64     80 and over

Club Parkinson’s goal is to bridge the gap of being diagnosed and living well with Parkinson's. Improving quality of life through research-based fitness programs, mental health, education, resources, and support for those fighting Parkinson’s Disease, their caregivers/families is the backbone of this nonprofit Parkinson’s community in Wichita, Kansas.
