Sweetheart Run 5K/10K

The 6th annual Sweetheart Run is a great chance to get out and run with your loved ones! Individuals and two-person teams will compete for age group and team awards in the 5K and individual age group and overall awards in the 10K. In addition to the awards for the fastest teams and individuals everyone will receive a great finishers medal and long sleeve shirt!

 

Kids ages 8 and under can participate in the kids fun run and will receive a kids medal!

5K/10K RUN/WALK

The 5K/10K will be chip-timed with mile markers and a 5k aid station and two 10k aid stations. 

KIDS FUN RUN 

Fun Run for kids ages 8 and under. 50-200 yards based on age. Participants will get a shirt and ribbon.

AWARDS

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers as well as the top masters male and female finishers. Custom event medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories:

 

10 and under  25-29     45-49     65-69
11-14              30-34     50-54     70-74

15-19              35-39     55-59     75-79

20-24              40-44     60-64     80 and over

Club Parkinson's

 

Club Parkinson’s believes that individuals and families of those with Parkinson’s Disease face many challenges. No one can face these challenges alone. Club Parkinson’s goal is to bridge the gap of being diagnosed and living well with Parkinson's. Improving quality of life through research-based fitness programs, mental health, education, resources, and support for those fighting Parkinson’s Disease, their caregivers/families is the backbone of this nonprofit Parkinson’s community in Wichita, Kansas.
